"Aqjol" is a parliamentary party of the Republic of Kazakhstan represented in the Mazhilis. After the 2023 elections, the volume of internal processes increased, and managing them manually became difficult. Party employees work daily with citizens' and government organizations' requests, organize events, coordinate activities across branches, and manage internal operations.

My Role & Impact
In this project, I acted as a product designer and led the interface development from scratch. Over four months, I conducted research, mapped the system, and designed key user flows.
Goal
Design an internal service that would help party employees coordinate tasks, manage the full lifecycle of events, and track key performance indicators.
Research
Together with the team, we conducted a series of interviews with party representatives to identify core problems and formulate hypotheses:
1
Most users are not accustomed to complex digital tools, so the interface needed to be as simple as possible, with clear navigation and strong readability;
2
Requests are submitted to the party through official channels, so the system needed to support request creation, verification, and coordination between branches and employees;
3
Party branches are distributed across regional centers of the country, making it difficult to track deputies' work without a unified system capable of identifying issues and providing visibility across locations;
4
Task execution requires official documentation, so built-in document management had to be included in the system.
User roles and tasks
Role
Tasks
Party leadership (Chairman, National Council)
Top-level management that needs a high-level overview: statistics, reports, and overall performance dynamics across all areas of the party
Members of the Mazhilis and Maslikhats, Akims (city, district, and rural)
Work daily with citizen requests and inquiries. They need structured document workflows, clear task statuses, and an event calendar
Activists
The largest and most active group within the party, responsible for organizing events, communicating with the public, and participating in party activities. They need a clear understanding of what is happening: upcoming events, assigned tasks, and their roles.
Branch managers (senior administrators)
Coordinate local operations and need to quickly create and distribute requests, as well as easily transfer cases between branches.
Junior administrators
Responsible for onboarding new users into the system. They need a simple and efficient process for registering, verifying, and integrating new employees into workflows.
Employee interaction
Based on the analysis and defined expectations, I created a system map for the service.
Solution
External and internal requests. A unified request registry that stores all incoming and internal requests. It allows tracking status, responsible person, and processing history for each request.
Branch employees. A directory of branch members with role and task distribution. It provides visibility into workload, activity, and participation in handling requests and events.
Statistics and KPIs. An analytical dashboard with key performance indicators. It shows request processing dynamics, response speed, branch workload, and overall system efficiency.
Result
As part of the project, I designed an ERP system for the “Aqjol” party that helped structure the management of requests and tasks across deputies and branches. As a result, deputies and employees received a unified digital tool for task execution and monitoring within a single environment.
